The Logo
he Intrepid Bakers logo was refined to create a bolder and more cohesive visual mark that reflects the brand’s energetic, craft-driven identity.
Adjustments to structure, contrast, and form improved legibility across packaging, signage, and digital use while preserving the character and warmth of the original hand-drawn style.
Visual Direction
The visual direction highlighted the genuine atmosphere of Intrepid Bakers, focusing on staff interactions, daily activity, and the natural rhythm of the café. Relatable moments were paired with curated product visuals to create a warm, approachable content system that remains consistent across social media and in-store touchpoints.

The web and mobile experience was redesigned to better support basenotes’ expansion into the European market. The interface was refined with a clearer layout, structured product pathways, and a visual system that reflects the brand’s handcrafted identity.
Updated UX flows improved browsing, comparison, and purchase clarity, while enhanced mobile optimisation ensured a consistent experience across all devices. The result is a more intuitive and accessible platform that communicates the brand’s values with precision.
